It was in 2016 that Pilah and the Ligerians met for a commission from the Télérama Dub festival: Joe Pilgrims & The Ligerians meet Pilah. A huge show at the Transbordeur in Lyon that pushed the protagonists to extend the collaboration in the studio. A delicious mix between the roots reggae universe of the Tours backing band and the deep dub of the Lyonnais, Pilah meets The Ligerians Vol. 1 is a meeting of style and mastery, to the great delight of dub heads and reggae addicts alike!

To make this project vibrate, six MCs enrich the album: Nai-Jah, High Paw, Learoy Green, Ivan Jah, Yao Kan and Black Sifichi. With as many timbres as different backgrounds, these voices bring color and character to the work. A success!
